How long do your tortillas last?
Flour - Our tortillas have a shelf life of about 30 days at room temperature. You can extend their life by refrigerating or freezing them.
Corn - Our corn tortillas have a shelf live of 60 days at room temperature. You can extend their life by refrigerating or freezing them.
How do you recommend storing tortillas?
Cool, dry storage and away from sunlight is the best way! You can always refrigerate or freeze them to elongate the shelf life! We recommend refrigerating your corn tortillas.
Can your tortillas be frozen?
Yes! You can freeze our tortillas for up to 1 year. To reheat, simply thaw and warm on a skillet.
Are your tortillas gluten-free?
Our corn tortillas are gluten-free, but our flour tortillas contain gluten. They are both manufactured on dedicated lines, but they are all made in the same facility.
What are the ingredients in your tortillas?
We use premium, locally sourced ingredients, such as Heirloom Indian corn grown in southern Colorado and high-oleic sunflower oil processed in northern Colorado. About 95% of our ingredients are from Colorado!
Are your tortillas vegan/vegetarian?
Most of our tortillas are vegan/vegetarian! We use local Colorado high-oleic sunflower oil on the majority of our products! We do make products with animal fats (they're always labeled in the title of them).
Seed Oils?
All of our corn tortillas are seed oil free!
Our Classic flour tortillas and many of our flavors do contain a locally made High Oleic Sunflower Oil. We will almost always have an alternative on hand for those seeking seed oil-free tortillas. Our usual suspect is the locally sourced Bison Tallow tortilla, but we do rotate in Extra Virgin Olive Oil tortillas and Avocado Oil tortillas every so often! We're always expanding the lineup with different tallows - expect new seed oil-free tortillas every few months!
